Our Story
Toronto Paper Lanterns started in 2005 out of necessity. As an event decorator working in the GTA, I kept running into the same problem: paper lanterns were nearly impossible to source locally. You either had to order from overseas and wait weeks, or you simply couldn’t get what you needed when you needed it.
That scarcity gave birth to Toronto Paper Lanterns. We began stocking paper lanterns right here in the GTA so event decorators, planners, and anyone celebrating wouldn’t have to scramble or wait.
Twenty Years Later
A lot has changed since 2005. Paper lanterns are now widely used for events, weddings, parties, and productions across Canada. But what hasn’t changed is the need we fill.
